Up & Up
Let's dream Up & Up
with this positive song by Coldplay
and this great animation by Vania Heymann.
Coldplay 'Up&Up' from Vania Heymann on Vimeo.
Lyrics "Up&UP" by Coldpay
Fixing up a car And driving it again
Searching for the water Hoping for the rain
Up and up Up and up
Down upon a canvas Working in a mill
Waiting for a chance to pick a Irish field
Up and up up and up
See a performer Diamond in the rough
See a bird soaring high above the flood
its in your blood its in your blood
Underneath the storm an umbrella is saying
Sitting with the poison takes away the pain
up and up up and up
We’re gonna get it, get it together
I know we’re gonna get it, get it together somehow
We’re gonna get it, get it together and flower
Ooohhh
We’re gonna get it, get it together I know
We’re gonna get it, get it together and flow
We’re gonna get it, get it together and go
up and up and up
Lying in the gutter Aiming for the Moon
Trying to empty out the ocean with a spoon
Up and up, up and up
How can people suffer how can people part
How can people struggle how can people break your heart
Break your heart
Yes I wanna glow Yes I wanna feel
Yes I wanna know show me how to heal it up, heal it up
I see the fire stare at every seed
Angels in the marble waiting to be freed, just need love
Just need love when the going is rough saying
We’re gonna get it, get it together
I know we’re gonna get it
Get it together somehow
We’re gonna get it, get it together and flower, oooh
We’re gonna get it, get it together, I know we’re gonna get it
Get it together and flow
We’re gonna get it, get it together and go up
Cause you can say what is
We'll fight for it, close your mind
Take a risk, you can say it's mine
Clench your fist, or see each soul as, as a gift
We’re gonna get it, get it together
I know we’re gonna get it, get it together somehow,
We’re gonna get it, get it together and flower
Oooohhhhh
We’re gonna get it, get it together I know, we’re gonna get it
Get it together and flow
We’re gonna get it, get it together and go up and up and up
We’re gonna get it, get it together
I know we’re gonna get it, get it together somehow
We’re gonna get it, get it together and flower, oooh
We’re gonna get it, get it together I know
We’re gonna get it, get it together and flow
We’re gonna get it, get it together and go up and up and up
Fixing up a car to drive in it again
When you’re in pain when you think you’ve had enough,
don’t ever give up, don't ever give up, believe in love!

There is a funny video with the great song
by Peter Gabriel "Down to Earth" which appears
in the soundtrack of this interesting film.
"Down to Earth" by Peter Gabriel
Lyrics
Did you think that your feet had been bound
By what gravity brings to the ground?
Did you feel you were tricked
By the future you picked?
Well, come on down
All these rules don't apply
When you're high in the sky
So come on down
Come on down
We're coming down to the ground
There's no better place to go
We've got snow up on the mountains
We've got rivers down below
We're coming down to the ground
To hear the birds sing in the trees
And the land will be looked after
We send the seeds out in the breeze
Did you think you'd escaped from routine
By changing the script and the scene?
Despite all you made of it
You're always afraid of the change
You've got a lot on your chest
Well, you can come as my guest
So come on down
Come on down
We're coming down to the ground
There's no better place to go
We've got snow up on the mountains
We've got rivers down below
We're coming down to the ground
We'll hear the birds sing in the trees
And the land will be looked after
We send the seeds out in the breeze
Like the fish in the ocean
We felt at home in the sea
We learned to live off the good land
We learned to climb up a tree
Then we got up on two legs
But we wanted to fly
Oh, when we messed up our homeland
And set sail for the sky
We're coming down to the ground
There's no better place to go
We've got snow upon the mountains
We got rivers down below
We're coming down to the ground
We'll hear the birds sing in the trees
And the land will be looked after
We send the seeds out in the breeze
We're coming down
Comin' down to earth
Like babies at birth
Comin' down to earth
Redefine your priorities
These are extraordinary qualities
We're coming down to the ground

We’re A lot Like Trees
There's a great song to practice our English
throught an artistic animation from dreambear
Paper Lights - We're Alot Like Trees (Official Music Video) from dreambear on Vimeo.
Were're A Lot Like Trees
by Paper Lights
It's been said of trees that they're imperfect men
imprisoned by the roots between their sins
with branches that reach into the dirt like arms
to plant their thoughts like seeds
but it never seemed so to me.
We're all living in the same room
and the heavens are the roof
we're all living in the shadow
of a canyon bigger than us.
It's been said that fire is just a greedy flame
with lights to distract from all it hopes to gain
all dressed up in colors to ignite it's claim
and a heart that's much like me
but I've never felt all that free.
We're all living in the same room
and the heavens are the roof
we're all living in the shadow
of a canyon bigger than us.

Refugees
Subjects such as refugees
deserve to be treated
despite being so delicate.
It is more easy to speak about climate change and pollution
than discuss issues involving the suffering of so many people
but children should know what awaits his generation.
In a century so fast where events accumulate
the history should not be satisfied with past knowledge
because the present is so ephemeral
that not enough time for processing.
Children can imagine possible solutions
in their discussions or conversations
and can surprise us with their views.

Catch & Release
Matt Simons - Catch & Release (Deepend Remix) Lyric Video
from John LaPrime on Vimeo.
"Catch & Release"
by Matt Simons
There's a place I go to
Where no one knows me
It's not lonely
It's a necessary thing
It's a place I made up
Find out what I'm made of
The nights are stayed up
Counting stars and fighting sleep
Let it wash over me
Ready to lose my feet
Take me on to the place where one reviews life's mistery
Steady on down the line
Lose every sense of time
Take it all in and wake up that small part of me
Day to day I'm blind to see
And find how far
To go
[Hook:]
Everybody got their reason
Everybody got their way
We're just catching and releasing
What builds up throughout the day
It gets into your body
And it flows right through your blood
We can tell eachother secrets
And remember how to love
There's a place I'm going
No one knows me
If I breathe real slowly
Let it out and let it in
They can be terrifying
To be slowly dying
Also clarifying
The end where we begin
So let it wash over me
I'm ready to lose my feet
Take me on to the place where one reviews life's mistery
Steady on down the line
Lose every sense of time
Take it all in and wake up that small part of me
Day to day I'm blind to see

The Cicle of Life
The Cicle of Life
is the main musical theme on the film
The Circle of Life
by Hans Zimmer
From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round
It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life
It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
