"It is not enough to teach men a specialty. This becomes something of usable machines but not valid individuals. Individual To be valid, the man must feel strongly that to which it can aspire. Has to receive a lively sense of the beautiful and of the morally good. Otherwise it looks more like a well-trained dog than a harmoniously developed body. Should learn to understand the motivations, hopes and sorrows of the people to acquire the right attitude about individuals and society .... "
