Empathy of Geometry

Geometry is a branch of math
by the leadership of numbers and figures.
However, math could be a branch of geometry
thank the leadership of audiovisual world.

The geometry can awake the empathy of children
through their suggestive shapes and dimensions.
because empathy is also the attribution
of one's own feelings to an object.
Besides, geometry is in all objects,
geometry is like a part of the nature.

Enjoy this great Short essay.

Cleaning the sea

Grandparents say:
"Clean people isn't who cleans,
clean people is who don't pollute. "

But the pollution don't stop on the sea,
then we celebrate the bright idea,
like these fishermen that help clean up,
through building their original sea chairs.

The sun reflects off the label grateful
because they have contributed to clean the sea.

It specifies the concrete location,
where they  made it. Congratulations,
the cleaner tide seems smiling.

Where are the bees ?

Our friends, Noisy Insects are concerned
because everyone talks about the disappearance of bees,
and they do not think they play like them.

In this great story in three dimensions,
you can form your own opinions
and below, you have the transcriptions.

Text:

To produce 1 Kg. of honey bees travel
a distance equivalent to 4 times around the earth.

Honeybees are the only insects
that produce food for humans.

Every third bite consumed in the US
is dependent on a honeybee to pollinate that food.

Recently, millions of bees
have mysteriously abandoned their hives.

No-one knows why 60% commercial bee
production in the US  has been lost.

Colony collapse Disorder
is spreading to Europe.

"If the bees disappear
from the surface of the earth,
man would have no more
 than four years to live"

From the Macro to the Micro

Flying is an ambivalent feeling.

On the one hand, you feel tiny
to the vastness of the horizon.

On the other hand, you feel giant,
 because people look like ants.

It is the same reality,
 but it varies greatly
 depending on the viewpoint.

For now, we can perceive from
 macro to micro dimensions.

Levels versus Labels

The mass communication can break individual opinions.
Stereotypes and clichés that hide behind some labels
can overcome if you change your attention levels.

Musical gestures uniting cultures

"Music has the power to break down
 the walls between cultures,
to raise the level of human understanding."

Playing For Change

"Today's new Song Around The World takes us on a musical trip
from the roots of Mexico into the heart of Africa.

Watch and listen to how easily this traditional song
travels the globe uniting musicians, rhythms and cultures
and takes us to the place where we all united people
finding our way through the music.

 "La Bamba" featuring David Hidalgo
and Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos,
Andres Calamaro and La Marisoul.
Turn it up and share the joy!"

Children

How  to talk about cool things
when there's thirteen countries
that have important conflicts?

Perhaps thinking about children,
because they are the seed of a new world
and they deserve our enthusiasm?

Why do not we stop producing missiles

Letters, syllabes, words or sentences ?

What is the best way to learn to read?
Starting by letters, syllabes, words or sentences?
In fact, every way is valid.
They are part of the same puzzle.

If you start wit the sentences and look for the different words, syllabes o letters, it is like starting with a finished puzzle and undoing. Taking advantage of their first drawings or their favorite story, we ask them to explain it. Then we write an easy sentence on  a piece of paper. If we write two the same, we can cut one into words and play them. And so until we have the letters.

Welcome to Word World from WordWorld on Vimeo.

If you start with words it's like taking pieces of puzzle with something in common: its meaning. You can play with their favorite words writing every word in the pictures of their favorite objects or with WordWorld.

Y1 Syllables from QBSVimeo on Vimeo.

If you start with the syllabes it's like play with some pieces of the puzzle that fit by their pronunciation. Claping syllabes can be a fun way.

6.8.14 letters Export from Children's Museum of the Arts on Vimeo.

If you start with letters and make syllabes, words and then sentences, it's like starting with and unmade puzzle and putting together. Scrabble letters are very useful but you can write your own letters on pieces of card. Next, you can make words and then sentences.

You can start with any of them,
and the result is the same:
 a reading adventure.
Everyone thinks their method is the best
but there are many ways to be a good reader.
The most important thing is
to believe in your learning possibilities.
